Nina Lapierre grew up in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, where her early exposure to the ocean continues to influence her work. She attended the Montserrat School of Visual Art in the 1970s; studied under the founding faculty including Joseph Jeswald and Oliver Balf. After a 30 year career as owner of a graphic design studio, she returned to fine art. Nina currently resides in Ipswich, Massachusetts with work in private collections in the US and the UK.
